Just realized that the song Sapsucker Sluggo by Zoinks! borrows a melody from Hippy Dippy Do by Rocket From The Crypt. This is of no real significance to anyone but me, but it kinda blew my mind.

RFTC is one of my all time favorite bands. One of the first shows I ever snuck into. (16+ at CBGBs & I was 14.)

Zoinks! was the first band I ever went on tour with. They are the most minor of footnotes in musical history, but Sapsucker Sluggo is an all time top 10 pop punk jam.

So both these songs have been in my life for a long, long time. Realizing they shared this thread fucked me up a little now.
