I finished my rainbow! It’s been fun wearing different tops and revisiting #running memories. In case anyone’s interested I’ve posted a little bit about them in this thread #UKRunChat
Red is for @horwichharriers my 1st claim running club where I coach. I’m missing all the infants on our Friday night sessions at the track I’m also so upset my favourite fell race of the year has had to be cancelled Look forward to getting back to normal #UKRunChat
Orange is for @dogfituk #canicross has been my saviour during #lockdown. The chance to exercise myself AND the dogs at the same time, plus the little one is really getting into it. I’m just about to order a new running belt for Mr M too - the whole family loves it #UKRunChat
Yellow is for my old club @WithamRunners. I nurtured this club from its roots and was chair for 8 years before I moved to Bolton. It taught me a LOT, and I have WR to thank for being the catalyst that set me upon the coaching pathway #ukrunchat
Green is my #oneinamillion @LondonMarathon top. I didn’t run my first marathon until 2014, because I didn’t think I could. After childbirth, a marathon really didn’t seem like a big deal at all and crossing that finish line made me realise I could do anything #ukrunchat
Blue is my @RunTogether_ shirt. I’m a run leader mentor as well as a run leader and coach, because I honestly feel so passionately about getting people out running. I’m REALLY missing the Community Run Group we set up in January at @BoltonArena - we’ll be back soon! #ukrunchat
Indigo is my 2015 @LondonMarathon T-shirt. I went back the following year to run my second marathon and set a 20 minute PB. I loved that event even more the second time I did it #ukrunchat
Violet is my @parkrunUK volunteer T-shirt, which I’m very proud of. I haven’t been able to get to parkrun much over the last 12 months, but am really looking forward to getting back to it. I first started #parkrun as a buggy pusher when the little one was just 6m old #ukrunchat
