The Wisconsin GOP scored an own goal in last Tuesday's voter suppression efforts. One hypothesis is that voters were turned off by the state Republican party's flagrant and transparent efforts to suppress the vote, so they turned out & voted against them. Another is that we can't reliably predict how the pandemic will change turnout patterns ahead of time.
