Ok! I definitely DO have some tips!! And if you need my resume in order to decide whether to take my advice or not, I have transitioned quite a few cats who either lived outdoors or were actual strays to being happy indoor cats https://twitter.com/ItsBrittany425/status/1249818464333766659
1. First and foremost before anything else take your cats to the vet. This should be the norm if your cats are doing weird things--peeing on the floor, for example. Just to make sure they're not sick w/a UTI or in pain.
2. Once they've been vetted and it's confirmed their issues are behavioral you should really start watching them. Where exactly do they pee? When? Could it be that there's an issue with litter box placement? Lots of cats won't use a litter box if it's not in a preferred location
so try putting a few litter boxes out, as near the Pee Spots as possible. Maybe you should change up the litter? Sometimes cats can be really picky about what type of litter being used. Be attuned to what makes your cats comfortable b/c this will help eliminate problem peeing
3. Sometimes cats misbehave because they're bored. Just like people!

So play!! Figure out the types of toys your cats like! Not all cats enjoy the same type of toys--try string toys, laser pointers, jingly balls, whatever--there are all different types. But whatever, PLAY
Cats need exercise and enrichment. Some fun things to do:

hiding treats around the room
getting treat-dispensing toys that force cats to work for treats haha
making sure there are lots of places to climb & perch
having window seats so the cats can look outside
4. Try some of the calming spray products like Feliway. These can help cats feel more comfortable and settled in a new place and make them less likely to scent mark
5. Make sure the cats aren't competing over resources. Have plenty of litter boxes and food/water bowls; have lots of beds and toys so the cats don't feel like they have to aggressively defend their ""territory""
6. Know that cats are not the best when it comes to changes. It can take cats a while to adjust and we have to help them as best we can. But luckily most of the time, the solutions are fairly simple!
