The movie starts underwater with the same beautiful and languid harp music as the first movie. Two divers are exploiting the sunken boat from the first movie and they are attacked and killed by a shark.

Roy Scheiddr has sole top billing of course. Robert Shaw was eaten in the first movie and Richard Dreyfus had better things to do. So right from the start we are behind the 8 ball since the original trio were three pretty much perfectly balanced personalities.
