How to Make your own gym equipment THREAD

Im going to cover as much I can with this, I know a lot of stuff is out of stock right now, and cost is prohibitive for some items

1. How do pullups at home.

This is easier than you think..
If you prop a door up, you can do pullups on them quite readily

Put a book or underneath one end, and voila

You can get creative if you have two doors that open close together as well
Along with this, you have a number of ways to train back at home

This guy (who I am not related to) demonstrates 5 different ways to train back with no real equipment
2. Pushups

If you have a chair, you can prop your feet up

There are lots of ways to train upper body, and it requires nothing more than manipulation of angles
3. Weighed movements

You can buy an expensive weight vest...OR

Make your own from trashbags and some duct tape

Or a backpack with bags of rice in it

This is EASY to do
4. Suspension training

a TRX is around $200

A DIY version is less than $30

Tow straps, climbing rope, some plastic piping, carabiners

These are EASY to make yourself
5. Dips bars and parallettes

You can make them from PVC pipe

If you use metal pipe, they'll be stronger than any product you could buy on the market
6. DIY Dip belt

Dont want to make a weighted vest

You can make your own dip and chin belt, add plates to it if you got them
7. Sandbag, Kegs, Tires
