If you're hiring engineers right now maybe consider changing your interview process to account for additional stress the candidate may be going through
I'm sure your coding problems are thoughtfully crafted and very clever but maybe they don't matter.
To think someone needs to be able to solve programming riddles under stress while multiple people they don't know whatch over their shoulder to prove they can work at your company is completely crazy
That either says something is really bad at your company and the work environment is terrible or you don't actually care about the candidate's psychology safety.

When was the last time you solved a programming riddles under stress while people watched and scored you?
I've never received a job offer from an interview that required love coding

Never
I'm also at the point of my career where if your interview process requires love coding I will refuse and look somewhere else for a job.

It's a terrible way to get metrics on if someone can code and sets the wrong tone about how important coding skills are
So lighten up you interview process. Think about the candidate, what their going through, and what you really need to hire for

I guarantee if it still requires love coding you should fix that culture before hiring anyone new
Thanks phone for all the "love" coding
