An interesting discussion about contact tracing. Adding my 2 cents.

Pre-symptomatic transmission means traditional strategies will be much less effective, but personally I can’t imagine not letting contacts know that they were exposed and should quarantine/get tested. https://twitter.com/jeremykonyndyk/status/1246920642521415682
Digital strategies could make this fairly easy to do. Lots of apps being developed now for this purpose.

Until then, we have a lot of people who are currently out of work who could be employed in this effort. Is it so difficult to train them?
Ideally we can get to a point where testing is so widespread that everyone can access testing to pick up those pre-symptomatics, but even then, wouldn’t we still make an extra effort for those known to be at greatest risk?

Very interested to hear what others think here.
