Feels like it's very fashionable (at least on this platform) to say "see, all this in-person interaction was unnecessary and in certain ways dangerous and the new equilibrium will shift toward greater distancing". Maybe! But I find it equally plausible that the opposite is true.
Namely, that people will find this experience quite traumatizing, and the substitutes for in-person interaction rather unsatisfactory, and people will place a greater premium on in-person interactions once this is *truly* all over (that is 18+ months from now / post-vaccine).
