The US needs SEROLOGY tests. Shocking how little this is talked about.

Serology tests looks for antibodies to see if you’re immune to COVID-19 / already had it.

A serology test is great because it tells you whether you’re at risk or not. We don’t know how many people got COVID-19 and recovered.

Every health worker and essential worker needs a serology test ASAP.

Prioritize the immune to get back to work and reserve the masks and equipment for those at risk.

Right now we have people who are immune in this country staying at home or wearing equipment that other people need. They could help in this moment greatly.

If I knew I was immune I’d be volunteering at hospitals. I’m sure I’m not alone.

Lastly without widespread serology tests you can’t actually calculate “case mortality rate.”

A lot of policy decisions and “back to work” decisions depend on that number.

It’s time we get accurate data. #serology
