What is the word for when you self quarantine for X days or whatever and then somebody else self Qz for 14 days and then you are cool to hang out again? This is a thing that a couple family members did with advice from doctors. There has to be a word for that.

Since some folks don’t realize what I mean, I’ll be clearer. Sometimes 2 people have to avoid each other & self-quarantine for a time. When they live together, this may mean being in different parts of the same house. Once they’re cleared, they can hang out with JUST each other.

Now, when they get to hang out with each other again, we could just call it a reunion. But that feels boring and I feel like we need a more interesting word. I’m just trying to keep you guys entertained because I am your teacher in homeschool.

In theory, if those people knew for certain that a third family member or friend had been self quarantined for a prescribed period of time, and was healthy, they could then invite that person to come kick it with them and only them. Which is wild but is happening more and more.
