You owe it to yourself to develop the superpower of self-discipline.

It spills over in every single thing you do. From your health, finances, what you entertain, soooo many things, it’s all in your discipline.
How I’ve personally been able to grow my discipline over 7 years, especially in regards to my health and fitness :

- Always plan ahead. I used to have a gym book, write down all my workouts and programs. These days we have apps which..
can help you schedule out your program, when, what time you’ll be training, down to the exercise, the rest time, everything in your program is mapped up in the app so when you get to the gym, it’s simple. You don’t have to wonder where to start.

- Setting weekly fitness goals, which you probably have seen me do several times on my twitter. 😅 I then narrow them down to daily goals, which gets much easier.

I reinforced the habit using @todoist, made sure everything is planned out, reminders to help me get things done.
- HABITS. Since August last year, is when I really started studying my habits and learn on how I can improve them, to foster my discipline.

Authors like @JamesClear have been extremely helpful in my journey. The micro-habits become automatic responses / rituals...
after a while of doing things over and over and over. Some of the top habits I picked up that fostered discipline are :

1. Daily meditation using @calm
2. Reading a book 60-30 mins before bed.
3. Less screen time, more time dedicated to my craft.
Amongst others...
I made a YouTube video talking about my top habits. Watch it here :

- Make it a fitness lifestyle, it gets sooooooo much easier if you view it from a long term perspective, exercise for your health and well being. What happens after you get your short term goals ?

Make it something you want to do, not have to do....
That all comes when the above is worked on and mastered on a DAILY BASIS.

You have to be able and willing to put in the work because fostering discipline requires consistency. It’s not gonna happen in 21 days. View it as a lifetime investment. Start today, with small habits.
