So many people idolize their favorite athletes. Without ever trying to become one themselves.

Why? They think it is impossible. But that's faulty info.

I have too much knowledge locked in the vault. So I'm gonna put you all on game. TAG A FRIEND w/ no bounce/speed

[THREAD]
People think that athleticism is predetermined. Which, it partly is. BUT

They also think of training for speed, jumping, etc. Is a function of strength etc

You're missing a HUGE factor: neural efficiency and firing patterns.

What does that mean? Well, let's explain
Athleticism is electric energy. Speed of conduction in nerves. Not some muscular thing.

Which is why some weak ass mfers have BOUNCE & can FLY naturally. No training.

But what is different about them you ask? Well, it starts in the feet.

Let me introduce to you the ATT.
The Anterior Tibial Tendon. Elite athletes have this naturally programmed to fire.

How does this help? It allows them to do two things:

A) Maintain a strong arch & tripod of the foot

B) externally rotate the lower leg, creating torque & tension from the foot up
Why is this important?

When you have a strong arch, and torque in the externally rotated tibia, it neurologically turns on something very important: YOUR GLUTES

The glute max is the STRONGEST muscle in your body by far.

most guys jump using quads/calves. Jump like they squat
Which leaves the most powerful muscle, the glutes, out of the equation.

When your arches are set, it creates a chain reaction from the feet up, turning on your glutes via neurons & fascia. ELECTRICALLY enhancing your overall system.

So, one might ask, how do I turn this on?
First, you need to assess strength levels. Most athletes have weak glutes, weak hamstrings, weak tibs, and weak arches. That's a process.

But the INSTANT changes you can make are exciting.

The first, is neurologic activation. The best thing I've found for this is RPR.
Created by @korfist and co, you can literally turn on muscles via certain pressure points. Kinda like acupuncture.

And INSTANTLY feel the difference.

You can also things like single leg glute bridges, high knee holds, and other things to start feeling that connection
An additional thing is to set your arches and SQUAT.

Lift your toes up. Feel the pressure on 1) ball of foot 2) outside ball of foot & 3) heel

Now do a squat. You probably can't because your ATT is weak.
You can also set your arches. Put the pressure on the ball of foot. Now raise your heels up maintaining that pressure. Hold it up. Do repetitive hops.

Your foot and nervous system will start to morph, giving your elasticity & neural efficiency

Elite athletes all have this.
You can build this up.

Not everyone can be Bron Bron, but everyone can have bounce.

Hope you enjoyed this. Much more where it came from.

As my friends @ellobosalvaje & @DejaRu22 say, TRAIN EVERYTHING.

The only limit placed on you is the one you set on yourself.
RT this too to save someone with no athleticism.

If people find value in it, maybe I'll start opening up the vault more.

This is the tip of the iceberg 🤝
you can get the ways I train this, and more no bullshit strategies you won’t read anywhere in my Limitless Playbook. Hundreds have used to level up, and loved it with ONLY 5 star reviews. http://thelimitlessplaybook.com
