5 Reasons why you have Poor Posture

1. You don't walk enough

Walking aligns your body with gravity. Those who walk daily and walk often will have good posture by default

Walking 30 minutes daily can improve posture without doing anything else
2. You sit and stare at the ground too much

Humans are evolved to stand upright, and we can see very far into the distance

Sitting itself is not bad, but if you never walk and only sit, plus you stare downward all the time, you will condition your body to be hunched over
3. You "workouts" are too much sitting and compressive movements

Lifting is NOT automatically awesome for your posture

If you "lift weights" mostly sitting down, you're not training posture

And if you lift heavy incorrectly, you're compressing your spine, not lengthening it
4. You think Good posture is pinning your shoulders back

Good posture is your whole spine being aligned over your hips & all of your muscles having balanced length-tension relationships when you do ANY kind of movement

Sticking your chest out wont fix a lifetime of misalignment
5. You think doing some secret exercise/stretch will fix your posture

Good posture is not doing a single magical movement or stretch and suddenly you stand up straight

The reality is that your entire bodily structure is weak and deconditioned

You need to retrain EVERYTHING
