In non-hypothetical examples where this interpretation of the 2nd Amendment could& #39;ve protected people from a government siege, like Ruby Ridge, or Waco, the government still killed almost everybody. And that was before drones.

I understand the sentiment, or spirit, of what they are defending, but real kids are getting mowed down in schools while civilian owners of weapons of war are preparing for a war that might never come, that they could not conceivably win.
