If you're chasing Kubernetes because that's what the tech giants use you should know

Google uses Borg
Facebook uses systemd
Twitter uses mesos
Netflix uses mesos

I'm not sure what Amazon or Microsoft use but I guarantee it's not k8s
I understand that k8s is used at a ton of places and it's the future for many organizations. My main point is you don't have to use k8s to be successful with containers or infrastructure
When I tweeted this two years ago it was true. I know Twitter and Google are using some K8s internally but the meaning of the tweet is still true.

Don't chase a technology because someone else is doing it.
I'm playing devil's advocate in a lot of replies here. I've seen K8s solve real business problems. I've also seen K8s cause a lot of problems where much simpler solutions would have been better
