So they tried to kill ya boy tonight at #ONeillMCA. First they invited the friends I hadn’t seen in so long—Shock, Bill, The Olivos

Then they had Olivo sing It Won’t Be Long Now, with a KILLER band led by Lac that was comprised of both Heights and Hamilton musicians #ONeillMCA

Then @ARamosofficial, singing a cut tune from Heights w my most autobiographical verse

Then they named a new studio at the O’Neill after me

Oh and Javi & Chris sang One Last Time

Then @LacketyLac closed it out with the original Heights bows music

And I saw my composer bestie Tom Kitt

And we raised a ton of scholarship money for more artists of color from all over to go play at the @ONeill_Center. What a night.
