/ Why did Rice feel the need to write the “by the book” email on her last day? It tells of a meeting held the day before Comey met Trump. If Comey had done as they had schemed in that meeting would her email have been necessary?

#Ruse
/ If it was just a standard email describing a meeting she would have written it on the day of the meeting. No. It was a reaction to something she had discovered between 1/5/17 and 1/20/17. Something that signaled to her that people had broken from the scheme.
/ Imagine Comey the night of January 5th. He’s spent the last two months trying to figure out how to square what happened in 2016 with serving a POTUS that was the target of the abuse of power. Everything we are learning now, Comey knew then. He also knew Trump would soon know.
/ He just left a meeting where the outgoing administration made clear they wanted to continue the plot against the new POTUS. Were they hoping to oust Trump before he had access to the details of what was done? Did Comey think that was likely? Did Comey think it was right?
/ Comey was going to be left behind to be the face for their continued actions against Trump. They wanted him to go into Trump Tower and lie to the incoming POTUS in order to continue their abuse beyond the end of their administration. What a night it must have been for him.
/ Now to everyone it seems Comey did just as they had plotted the day before in the Oval Office. He went to Trump Tower, met with Trump & only told him about the salacious parts of the dossier. He didn’t tell him about the rest of the dossier or that it was being used for FISA.
/ Then after this briefing where Comey presumably did just as he had strategized the day before in the Oval Office, he leaves the meeting and writes a memo. The first memo he had ever written in this type of circumstance. People have assumed it was a way to entrap Trump. Was it?
/ Now that we have read them, the idea that this memo would bring down Trump seems silly. In fact that memo and the rest of them actually help to explain that what motivated Trump wasn’t a fear of investigation but a concern for how the salacious details would affect his wife.
/ The memos were later used to create SC Mueller. So on day one Mueller knew what we all now know. Trump wasn’t trying to obstruct any investigation into collusion because Comey said so in the memos. So why did Comey write them and why did he think a SC was necessary?
/ The answer to the question is right in front of us now. The Russia investigation had to be taken from the FBI to stop the coup plotters. Comey’s firing and memo release was the mechanism to accomplish this. Rosenstein knew McCabe & the others were corrupt. Comey needed help.
/ The memos may also facilitate Comey flipping via leaking classified info. On 1/6/17 Comey wasn’t hated by the right. The left was blaming him for Hillary’s loss. If he would be a witness to corruption he needed to be rehabilitated with the left. Memos solved for this.
/ From 1/6/17 to today the idea that Comey doesn’t like Trump has been well established. If he ultimately does flip it will be very difficult to paint him as a pro Trump partisan. They’ll try but it won’t stick.
/ We will know soon enough what Comey ultimately does and what role he ultimately plays. /end
/ Another point relating to Comey telling Trump of the dossier in private. There’s a memo that describes Priebus asking him if Flynn is the target of FISA. He tells him these requests have to be made via official channel and that the answers will be provided to POTUS’s lawyer.
/ Comey was saying this info was need to know and Priebus didn’t N2K. Which explains why Comey asked to speak to Trump privately on 1/6/17 and likelihood he told him more than just the salacious aspect of the dossier. It’s the reason he would need to have told him one on one.
