As I go through this two stats by @StatiSense titled "Nigeria Elections in Retrospect and Youths and the 2019 election " respectively. I can't help but wonder if youths in Nigeria are seeing what I am seeing
The truth is that, the place and participation of youths in our political process cannot be undermined or over emphasized. For our democracy to be meaningful, stable and functional, our youths must be part of the shaping process.
@segalink @DrJoeAbah
We the youth(s) have both the right and responsibility to help shape the future we will inherit and the quality of life that we want to experience. Our voices and votes are essential to the growth and development of Nigeria.
Most Youth believes that the Nigeria political scene is not conducive for citizens’ participation. Hence, the politics is left for those they consider too rigid
to withstand the political environment of Nigeria which is characterized by Godfatherism, corruption, rigging etc.
We must not lose focus as 2019 draws closer. We must come to the full realization of our strength as young people and look for ways we can support the political process. From Joining a party, to getting our PVC and voting or come out as a candidate.
