so i’ve always been interested in seulrene as a subunit and so have quite a few people so here is a thread showing off how well they would work together and how they bring out the best in each other

starting off with a fan favourite, the predebut be natural dance practice. we already know how amazing seulgi is at dancing but this video clearly shows that irene has been able to hold her own from the beginning. this is probably one of their best dance performances

another predebut blessing of a video. irene’s flexibility and sharp moves coupled with seulgi’s natural/precise moves is breathtaking to watch. it makes me wonder why sm doesn’t let them show off their skills on special stages

we can’t move on without showing a live performance of be natural. having them dance together for the majority of the performance was a blessing. this choreo was made for the both of them and their charisma on stage is unmatched.

this fancam of red velvet performing BoA’s no.1 shows us seulrene being in sync and it also shows their differences in dance styles but they compliment each other really well

this rare occurence of red velvet performing the full version of automatic just shows us how much velvet concepts suit them so well. if you focus on seulrene, you can see again how in sync they always are

they really are starting to be seen as the dancing duo of the group in variety shows and by their own members. hope they get a chance to try out new choreos together on special stages very soon

throwback to their special stage of i don’t know what love is yet with yuju & yerin from gfriend. a sweet/soft performance showing us that they can easily do every concept well

a side to side view of seulrene performing cool hot sweet love. this just shows how they excel in velvet choreo and how they both execute the moves powerfully but in different ways. seulgi with her sharp moves & irene with a more fluid approach showing how graceful she can be

another side to side view of seulrene but this time performing peekaboo. this choreo is yet another example of how they are both strong dancers. it also shows that they are natural born performers and have great charisma and stage presence

this special performance of greedy showed us that both girls are more than competent as vocalists. it showed us what we already know, seulgi is main vocalist material and brought light to irene’s vocal ability. she can definitely SING but isn’t given the chance in rv songs

seulgi and irene being asked to do impromptu singing sessions. their voices compliment each other well and look at how irene always goes deeper to try and harmonise with seulgi. it’s really beautiful to hear both their tones together

seulgi and irene performing tears on singderella is my favourite thing. you can clearly hear the difference in their tones and their high notes were easily distinguishable. a subunit could help the both of them improve vocally even more and they already have so much potential

this was such a cute karaoke performance where they were just messing about but they still sounded good especially seulgi’s powerhouse vocals. hope they get a chance to sing a song written for them and actually release it

to wrap it up, think about irene being obsessed with the be natural era and calling the predebut video her favourite video and the both of them picking each other as members they want to do a subunit with. give the people and seulrene what they want and give us a subunit
