@BigFinish #DoctorWho Main Range 001 - The Sirens of Time

For a first story, having three Doctors, three time periods and an invasion of Gallifrey was pretty impressive! Davison, C. Baker & McCoy were all on fine form. The Sirens were a cool idea if a tad underdeveloped. 7/10
#BigFinish #DoctorWho Main Range 002 - Phantasmagoria

Very reminiscent of Mark Gatiss's later "ghost" story, The Unquiet Dead, even down to the ending, but set a century earlier. Not particularly exciting, though, with some clunky dialogue and a fairly generic Who plot. 5/10
#BigFinish #DoctorWho Main Range 003 - Whispers of Terror

Wonderfully atmospheric story that made perfect use of the audio medium by featuring a monster made out of sound waves! Colin Baker was fantastic, as was @TheLisaBowerman in an early guest role as the villain. 8/10
#BigFinish #DoctorWho Main Range 004 - The Land of the Dead

An interesting idea, with creepy primeval skeletal monsters and a solid performance by Davison. Still, ultimately let down by a poor script with too much explainery and a below average guest cast.

4/10
#BigFinish #DoctorWho Main Range 005 - The Fearmonger

A nice political thriller, with an outstanding performance from McCoy - MUCH better than in Sirens of Time. Roderick sounded so like Humphrey from Yes Minister! I zoned out in part 3, but there was a riveting climax.

7.5/10
#BigFinish #DoctorWho Main Range 006 - The Marian Conspiracy

A fairly predictable historical, but a great script and introduction to new companion Evelyn. I love her - finally someone who can out-talk the Sixth Doctor! Looking forward to listening to more of her audios.

#BigFinish #DoctorWho Main Range 007 - The Genocide Machine

This started out well, but gradually became a load of cliches, with little in the way of excitement. Imagine Planet of the Daleks meets Silence in the Library. Still, I'm a sucker for Nick Brigg's Daleks, so...

6/10
#BigFinish #DoctorWho Main Range 008 - Red Dawn

Oh dear. The first real clunker so far. Ice Warriors witter on about honour and slowly strategise for two hours. The Doctor and Peri are given nothing to do and the script is full of tired lines like "... Or someTHING!"

3/10
#BigFinish #DoctorWho Main Range 009 - The Spectre of Lanyon Moor

Wonderful to see the Sixth Doctor and Brigadier meet at last. A classic horror story that wouldn't seem out of place in 70s Who, complete with hilariously hammy villain. I adored how the Brig saved the day!

8/10
#BigFinish #DoctorWho Main Range 010 - Winter for the Adept

Very atmospheric and lovely to see Nyssa get more characterisation than usual. Sadly, almost nothing happened until part four and the cliffhangers were hilarious: The ski poles of doom! Lets have a seance!

6/10
Also, is it just this audio or does everyone in Britain pronounce migraine as "me-grain"? I'd never heard that before - always called it a "my-grain"!
