YODS IN ASTROLOGY: THE KARMIC LIFE WE'VE ALREADY LIVED

FIRSTLY one of the most simplistic and easy ways to identify if you HAVE a yod in your chart is to calculate your chart here:

It'll directly tell you if you have one and is extremely simple to read. Not everybody has one, they are (debatably) rare.

WHAT IS A YOD: A Yod in the most simplistic terms is a karmic energy that has been past down from your family tree. If you have one, your parents or relatives most likely have one.

Perhaps someone from a long long time ago messed up monumentally giving a karmic "curse" gene.

Don't worry, I say curse lightly. But it is technically a symbol that you've lived a life over and over again and have continued to not break the mold of what the yod's life path has needed for you to carry out in each life. Thus, being reborn with the same yod -- if not another.

YOU CAN HAVE MULTIPLE YODS IN YOUR CHART. Having more than one signifies nearing the end of a karmic life, and perhaps reaching the end of a long tiresome "multiple life" path. As people with yods may have strange feelings of past lives they've lived.

Called "the finger of fate" because if you notice, it looks like a finger pointing toward the apex planet. (Formed by 2 [or more] planets in sextile [60 degrees] to each other, each forming a quincunx [150 degrees] to a third [apex] planet.)

There will always be two points that are "sextile" with one another.

And then we have the APEX planet, aka the point of emphasis in the Yod representing what steps need to be taken to further "break the curse" of our past lives & ancestry errors, and the heavy weight of power that is emphasized in our lives that we must learn to channel correctly.

The apex planet is where the two sextile points (quincunx) or point to the third point aka the point of emphasis. Now each chart may have different sextiles, making Yods specific to each individual. Not all "pizzas" look the same in a chart.

In astrology people with Yods are extremely rare, now this is debatable because some say it pops up more commonly now -- but people who carry Yods within their chart have perhaps dealt with loss or hardships extremely young in life.

They are given a great amount of "karmic" energy which can make them EXTREMELY lucky or extremely unlucky. For instance historical people with Yods: Princess Diana, Martha Stewart, and Adolf Hitler. They are stronger than others, bc they have excess energy from past lives.
