The term "Chandala" as defined by #ManuSmriti: an out-caste person whose mere touch pollutes, considered the offspring of a Sudra father and a Brahmin mother:
"Chandala" in modern Telugu isn't necessarily used for a Dalit/low-born. It's used for any person who is "uncivilized"/"sinful" (చండాలుడా!).. also used to curse oneself for feeling utterly 'oppressed' or 'dis-empowered' to uplift oneself.. నా కర్మ! ఈ చండాల మైన బ్రతుకు నాకెందుకు?!
Buddha on Brahmin supremacy: "These womb-born Brahmins talk about being born from Brahma's mouth. These Brahmins misrepresent Brahma, tell lies and earn much demerit."

In the Agganna Sutta, Buddha imparts Dhamma to two Brahmins being abused by fellow Brahmins. It begins thus:
The Aryan psyche... Fear of being surrounded by Women, Chandalas, Dravidians and Andhras in their dreams https://twitter.com/AnaMyID/status/970295160390103041
Wow!

"Varnasrama System Must Be Introduced" Prabhupada, 1977 https://vanisource.org/wiki/770214_-_Conversation_B_-_Mayapur

The entire conversation is painful to read, long and convoluted. On one hand he says Krishna Consciousness is for everyone, even Shudras can become Brahmin and Vaishnavite, but they better not?
Prabhupada's Aryan supremacy race theory:

"The intelligent class of humans are Aryans. They are white. But here in India due to climate, they're a little tan. Dravidians just like these Africans are black. Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya, they will be fair complexion. Sudras, black"
'Shudra is to be controlled only. Never to be given freedom. Just like in America. The blacks were slaves, under control, & since you've given them equal rights they're most disturbing. Keep them under control as slaves, give sufficient food, cloth, not more than that'—Prabhupada
Shudras "are to serve another, the three higher castes, to be expelled and beaten according to the pleasure (of their masters.)"

--Aitareya Brahama (dated 1000 BCE to 500 BCE )

(Source: Aitareya Brahmana of the Rigveda, Published 1922, The Panini Office, Allahabad.)
'Shudras have no brain; they're black. They're never to be given freedom. Just like in America. Since you've given equal rights blacks are most disturbing. Keep them under control as slaves but give them sufficient food, sufficient cloth, not more than that. They'll be satisfied'
'Hitler was a Great Aryan Hero. A Humane gentleman. Jews were financing against Germany, otherwise he'd no enmity with them. They want interest money—therefore Hitler decided "Kill all the Jews"

~His Divine Grace Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, ISKCON Hare Krishna Vaishnava Guru
Wasn't Krishna dark-skinned? Prabhupada quotes Bhagavatam: In previous births The Lord was born with White, Red & Yellow hues, and now as "Krishna" the color of rain cloud, black/bluish. Shyam Sundar VERY Beautiful UNLIKE ugly Negros & Shudras. Hence ISKCON idols are always WHITE
'Caste'/Varna discrimination in Ancient India: If a Brahmin commits adultery with a Chandala/outcaste woman, he should do a fasting penance & pay two cows as fee to Brahman priests. For the same 'sin', a Kshatriya or a Vaishya man should pay 2 pairs of cattle. A Shudra: 4 pairs!
Chanakya's Arthashastra: Punishment For Adultery With a Brahmin Woman

Kshatriya: Fined; Vaisya: Property confiscated; Shudra: Burnt alive!

Additionally, if a Shudra commits adultery with an avarna/outcaste woman, he'll be put to death while the woman has her nose & ears cut off
Manu Smriti

"A Brahmana may compel a Shudra (whether he was bought or not) to do servile work; for he was created to be the slave of a Brahmana"

"A Sudra, though freed by his master, isn't released from servitude"

"A Brahmana may confidently seize the goods of his Sudra slave"
Slave trade in Ancient India:

In times of adversity, a Brahmana may trade (an exclusive role of Vaishyas in normal times) in permitted goods. A Brahmana is forbidden to trade in human beings, but he may barter human beings for human beings.

Progressive* Manusmriti on Welfare of Dvija Humans

'One must not give advice to a Shudra, nor your leftover food or prasad, & do not explain him Dharma or dictate Vratas (penances)'
