where taehyung is a single dad struggling in college and ends up getting kicked out of his apartment. he started to ask around to see if anyone would offer him a place to stay. surprisingly, at the same time, jungkook was looking for a roommate.

this au is dedicated to my peeps in the single dad tae gc. they inspired me to write the au!

24. jungkook goes to his door and checks the peephole. “huh?” he says to himself. it was taehyung, but he wasn’t alone. he opens the door and his eyes immediately shift down.
“hi jungkook, this is rose, my daughter.” she smiles. he leans down.

54. after having that conversation with his daughter, he immediately texted jungkook. it was time.

58. after confessing to each other, things changed around the apartment. taehyung turned his old room into roses and he moved in with jungkook. jungkook has been helping rose with everything while taehyung works. when jungkook goes out in the mornings, he takes rose with him+

59. to explore and give taehyung some alone time. everything has been at peace and it’s wonderful. taehyung is now able to attend his classes at the university and jungkook has been writing more about love and what it’s like.

61. on the way to the fields, jungkook was thinking about taehyung and how he ended up having a daughter. he’s always wondered who the mother was. but was too afraid to even ask the question. maybe today is the day, that he finally pops the question.

as each day passes, the more in love taehyung & jungkook are. taehyung was finally able to finish his college courses & jungkook’s writing blog got bigger. rose is now 6 & entering 1st grade. rose sees jungkook as a dad, but still calls him ‘kookie.’

65. they still live in the same apartment, but are in the process of moving into a quiet area and into a house.

jungkook asked taehyung to marry him and little rose was the one to give taehyung the ring.

nothing has changed but the fact that rose has another father figure.

66. taehyung now has a husband to come home to. jungkook doesn’t need help with getting motivated to write.

everything is perfect and the way it should be. and this was all possible thanks to seokjin.
