Ok so a while back I mentioned doing an ongoing thread about Native cultural appropriation I came across in media so that other non-Native people could see how pervasive it is.

To my mutuals who are Native peoples please feel free to mute this thread if you need to.
Also, I might not catch everything from every piece of media I'll list here but I'll do my best.
Ok, let's start with Bob's Burgers. This is one of my favorite shows but it is not above critique and there are many things I wish they changed.

Season 2 episode 3
Linda makes Gene a Navajo warrior mask for school.
Bob's burgers season 3 episode 11

Louis "we'll be the Lewis and Clark of nudism"

Tina "I'll be the Sacagawea..."

Gene "of sacks"
Season 6 episode 8

Bob starts smudging with sage after healing class with Jairo.
(Sorry gif isn't best quality, only clip I could find of this part)
Bob's burger season 6 episode 17

Tina describes a horse camp "where a Native American gives you an honorary horse inspired name".
Ok one of the ones I forgot is also in season 6 episode 8

Linda:Take a walk to the store and look at some produce. Maybe you'll get inspired.
Bob:Yeah, maybe I should.
Gene: And if that doesn't work, just take peyote, like in the old days.

I can't remember what the last one I caught was so I'll add it once I go through the series again.

I should also have probably said some things I mention will probably also be racist stereotypes not just cultural appropriation.
Little bear has an episode where they wear feather head bands and put on a rain dance play to make the crops grow.
And speaking of rain dance episodes, How I Met Your Mother has an entire episode revolving around Ted doing a rain dance to stop Robin from camping.

Notice the woman with her hair in braided pigtails 🙄
TW: sexual content

I tried to find just the lyrics for this song and could not, this is one of the only videos of it I found. It's by Nightbeast and it's called Inuit? I'm into it.

TW for sexual content because of oversexualization of Native women.
This happens constantly in shows. Native people are not costumes to dress up as. 😡 https://twitter.com/heather28df/status/973427327131512832?s=19

Why, why was it necessary for you , @Crest and @OralB, to have a kid in this commercial dressed as a Native person?
Native people are not costumes.
@xodanix3 is a great person to follow and support. She is always speaking on Native issues. (She has a patreon)

Here's examples from the movie Click. https://twitter.com/xodanix3/status/946518649665355776?s=19
This is the book I mentioned the other day that I had read when I was younger and it had a lot of appropriation of Native culture.

Here's a link to a review of it

It was pointed out that Regular Show has a few episodes that should be added.

This one is about one of the characters having violent dreams and they use weapons with dream catchers to try and stop them.
Regular Show also has a Thanksgiving special where a Native person, a pilgrim, and someone dressed as a turkey fight w/ some characters over a turkey and then end up eating dinner with them.

This is a problem that @GearsofWar 4 had as well. People commented on them adding Native cultural aspects to some of the characters but they weren't voiced by Native people and they didn't elaborate on their culture at all.
So I know people have talked about Until Dawn using wendigos but I just came across another game made by a canadian developer, Parabole, called Kona that also has a wendigo.

I have so so many questions about it...
Like, it takes place in 1970s Quebec and I cant find anything saying why it's called Kona, a Hawaiian word, unless its the name of the murdered girl who's case your trying to solve??? Idk, seems odd.

Also, the wendigo is apparently the girls "lover" who is Cree. 😐
CW use of Esk*mo

Remembered the Bob's burgers ones I missed.

Season 3 episode 22
CW use of Esk*mo

Season 1 episode 13
Torpedo: "courtesy of some black market whale blubber I bought off some Esk*mos."

Note: Alaskan Native people have asked that this word NOT be used, especially by non-Native people.

Found this at the library today. From what little I have found it appears to be both written and illustrated by non-Native people.

The author thanks Minnesota historical society and and anthropologist, doesn't even thank the Ojibway people who's culture she stole to sell a book.
CW: over sexualization of Native women

Images like @LandOLakesKtchn uses contributes to over sexualization of Native women so much so that the show @bigmouth had 2 references to masturbating to the image just in the 1st season.
And 1 reference in the 2nd season.
I have seen quite a few awful things about this show already and now this 😡 https://twitter.com/SaltyLilOjibwe/status/1055979468517502976?s=19
Total drama island has a white character that mentions being 1/27th Cherokee and how maybe the tribe will claim her at any time...

Then another one suggests burning sage to get rid of curse vibes.
I have also noticed a theme in A LOT of Disney channel/Nickelodeon shows (wits academy and my babysitter is a vampire are ones I just saw) of having dream catchers, arrows, and feathers as decorations/ on clothing.
