I've recently come to some important realizations, and I wanted to share them with y'all.

). As a person of color, I am more capable than I've been conditioned to believe.

). I have EVERY RIGHT to set goals for myself that others might think are "too much" or "lofty."
). I have two platforms that I can use to help myself AND others. That's important to me, and I have to make sure that fact stays at the forefront of my plans moving forward.

.) I will to use my platform to help marginalized groups.

). My platforms must be safe spaces.
). I don't have to allow homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, and bigotry on my platforms. I can call people out on it, and that doesn't make me an "asshole," "SJW," or "bougie" person. It makes me empathetic & concerned, and it makes me a decent friend, partner, and human.
). Women of color, especially Black women, are treated like DOG SHIT. I see it ALL THE TIME, and it needs to stop yesterday. Men, myself included, HAVE TO BE SO MUCH BETTER. We're not doing nearly enough, and that MUST change.
). Willful ignorance is not the same as plain old ignorance. However, both are equally harmful, and they're not excuses. There are too many resources out here for that, and there are so many women who are telling us these things. LISTEN WHEN THEY PROFESS THEIR EXPERIENCES TO US.
.) Too many men keep telling me that women are lying about experiences they've experienced. Those men generally see women as less than human, don't believe that they do, and don't believe women and men can just be friends. THEY ARE CORNY ASS DUDES. I SAID WHAT I SAID.
.) I AM A BISEXUAL BLACK MAN, and ain't NOBODY gonna tell me I'm less than, or dirty, or evil, or trash without getting dealt with. I will cosplay Emma from #ThePromisedNeverland at a convention at some point, and I will look GLORIOUS and feel AMAZING.
