đź“ŚNote to self: follow selfcare plan
A reminder: gardening makes you feel good. Even if you just step outside, breathe in the jasmine and look at the plants, it helps. Get out of bed and let your day begin 🌱
A reminder: open the bedroom curtain and window. Air it out, it’s easier to feel fresh when the room is also fresh.
A reminder: if you really feel stuck you have a lot of tools and skills at your disposal. Body scanning, tarot cards, yoga etc. Don’t ignore the pain, feel it and process it using what you’ve learned. Maybe book a therapy appointment?
Reminder: You're not always going to have good days. And that's okay. There are always going to be bad days. You'll feel like an idiot. But generally, feeling like an idiot means you've learnt something. And that's progress. Today you progressed. Well done.
Sometimes not knowing what’s going on with your body and if you are following the best advice is scary... maybe just do a body scan and take a minute to do something nice for your body while you work this out.
WASH YOUR FACE. TIE UP YOUR HAIR. BRUSH YOUR TEETH.

Let yourself feel fresh.
Sometimes you can’t turn your day around. Even when you do things you think should make you feel happy. You are allowed to feel crappy, be in pain and even go to bed early. Listen to yourself. Take care of yourself, don’t be hard on yourself. You can try again tomorrow
Write your plan out for the morning.
Now you don’t need to keep repeating it in your mind. The only step now is to sleep.
Sometimes self care is NOT watching another episode of @QueerEye. It’s time to wash your face and get some sleep, so you can be your best awesome beautiful self tomorrow. ✨
Sometimes you will be reminded of past trauma or get anxiety you can’t shake. No amount of trying to distract yourself will make it go away.
You can’t talk to the person about it, even if you want to. Not having proper closure sucks. But you are whole. You are strong.
I am thankful for this thread.
I am thankful for the progress I have made this year.
Even when you are taken back to when things feel so helpless.
Stop trying to dismiss yourself. I know you feel so uncomfortable.

But you need to go to bed now.
Cool yourself a wholesome meal and listen to soothing music. Never doubt the power of stirring risotto.
^^ Cook*
Ensure to add herbs from the garden. Thankful for the flavour gifts.
Reminder: indoor rock climbing/bouldering is great. You will be focused, sweaty and challenged in ways that will make you feel good. Don’t put off going. It will help energise you. You will feel stronger. (Except that one time that was just food poisoning)
GO. TO. BED.
You are allowed to have multiple sick days. It’s not your fault. They will be okay without you. You aren’t letting anyone down. You are doing your best. Everyone knows you’re rather be working. Forcing yourself to have a miserable time doesn’t help. Yes it still sucks.
Hi Jaymii this is just a reminder that you have dealt with your recent downturn really well. You used your tool kit, reframed/adjusted and followed it up with professional care. Self care gold star 🌟
