Times when I realized some white leftists will often choose to center themselves over black folks:
1 When me & a couple of friends asked to have a caucas to discuss black issues and everyone not only got silent but a guy came up to us and essentially told us we were being racist

2. When this same occupy group tried to get together a "police officer appreciation day" (lolwut)

3. The time John Lewis showed up to speak and was essentially voted down from speaking. Yeah I get it "Democratic principles" And all but you're still centering your white ass experience over an elder who could drop knowledge of the struggle of black in this country

4. White black bloc folks running around and setting stuff on fire while it was mostly black folks who were running around and trying to get water bottles to put out fires

5. A white black bloc demonstrator throwing a bunch of firecrackers like 5 feet away from me while we were surrounded by cops during a tense protest. Guess how that could have ended
