WAYNE “SILK” PERRY

HITMAN. ENFORCER.

MOST FEARED MAN IN D.C.

“I DON’T PLAY THAT ACROSS THE STREET SHIT, I WALK RIGHT UP AND PUT SEVEN IN THE HEAD LIKE IT AIN’T SHIT.”

THREAD BELOW. @_ValTown_
Wayne “Silk” Perry was born in Southwest Washington D.C. on November 14, 1962.
Washington D.C. has a pretty deep reputation for their various drug lords and hitmen like Wayne, Michael Fray, and FBI informant Rayful Edmond just to name a few. Michael Fray pictured with the lady, Rayful in the other picture.
Wayne got the nickname Silk from a family member growing up. He liked the name, and it stuck with him as his reputation built over the years.
Wayne was very violent growing up. His fiery temper and fearlessness often got him in trouble with anyone he came in contact with. According to him, he caught his first body at the age of 12 in 1974.
Shortly after his first murder, he began to hustle; like many other kids in the country were doing.
In 1978 he robbed his first bank, didn’t get jammed up for that either. The nickname Silk was beginning to fit his personality well, as he was able to slip in and out of situations without dealing with law enforcement. You’ll see more of that throughout this thread.
Wayne attended Wilson High School, in 1979 they had a riot. In that riot he shot a school security guard and was charged with attempted murder. Luckily for him there wasn’t enough evidence and the case was dropped. Silk.
Still in high school, Wayne had a love for baseball; after a dispute with the coach, he beat him over the head with a baseball bat and got kicked out indefinitely from all public schools in D.C.
Kicked out of school and unable to finish his education, Wayne began to roam the streets trying to find ways to make easy cash. But in the Crack era especially in D.C., moving around freely unaware of what’s happening can be nearly fatal. Survival of the fittest.
Wayne got jumped by a few guys while walking on the block, and neighbors called police. He fled and hid behind a building watching the officers talk the guys who beat him up. Ironically he found a baseball bat and walked up to the guys in front of the cops and beat them up badly.
He got away with it. Silk.
In 1984 he was in a similar situation where he was being shot at in front of another cop, in which he pulled his gun out and started shooting back at the individual. He was arrested for the crime but, the cop testified that Wayne was defending himself. The jury found him guilty.
Wayne was sent to Lorton Youth Center One.
Around 1987 Wayne was released from Prison. Broke and determined, he started his own crime crew and decided to become a Hitman. Violence was second nature to him.
Wayne played by his own rules, he made them, and broke them as much as he pleased. No one was going to do anything to him. Overnight he became the most feared man in Washington D.C.
When Wayne started to get paid for the bodies he put in the dirt, people around the city had no idea it was him that was committing these crimes. His physique wasn’t intimidating, so you wouldn’t have thought it was him doing it. People thought it was a man from Detroit.
Wayne didn’t care who you were, if the price was right and you weren’t a part of his circle, you had to go no if ands or buts. The Murder Game is big business. Once that bounty is put on your head it’s no turning back. Most of Wayne’s friends were completely scared of him.
Wayne was very smart, he used his sharp mind to put people to the test who thought they belonged with him. If a dude was soft or fake tough, he would take whatever that man had. He only respected real men. Didn’t matter how much money you had, women, cars, any of that he took it.
He also used his ability to make people laugh as a way to test the waters with them too. One scenario was when he was joking around with a guy he didn’t like, just to see his reaction. Kept telling the guy “You’s a bitch, you should be taking that dick” and all kinds of shit.
The dude got upset, kept telling Wayne to stop like a little girl. Wayne told him that he’d put a hole in the back of his head. They were in the car when this happened. When they reached to the mall, Wayne slapped him then told him strip naked; which he did out of fear.
Another scenario was when he told his man who just got out of Lorton with no money to go inside of a known dealers crib and tell the dealer to give him the money or else. The dealer was so scared of hearing the name Silk, he gave it all up in five minutes no problem.
Despite everyone being afraid of him, he was good to his team. If he came up on a couple kilo’s, he would break it down with all of his guys. Main thing that mattered to Wayne was heart.
Everyone in Wayne’s camp had their position, and they had to play it well or it was going to be issues.
Wayne would extort anyone who he felt had money. Dealers wouldn’t drive their best cars or wear their best gear around him because it would give them away that they were getting to the money. Rayful Edmond would try to break him off some work just so he couldn’t be touched.

It was during this time Alpo was on the run from the FEDS in New York and came to D.C.. Worse mistake Wayne ever made was linking up with him. Here is Alpo next to Rich. Alpo on the left.
Alpo was trying to set up shop in D.C.. but Michael Fray who was one of the kingpins I mentioned earlier, didn’t like the idea of New York dealers coming to D.C. to sell. So Alpo felt as if The was being pressed. Michael pictured below in the white suit.
Alpo was afraid of Michael, Michael allegedly took 10 kilos from Alpo and he didn’t do anything about it. So he needed a muscle. Michael pictured again below.
Rayful got locked up in September of 1990 and got hit with a few life sentences. Everything I’m saying will tie together soon. This is Rayful when started serving his bid.
With Rayful locked up, Drugs in D.C. began to dry up; Alpo and Michael were eyeing that number one spot which no one had the capability of filing in other than them two. Wayne wasn’t worried about being a kingpin his job was to take people out and get paid.
Michael planned on extorting Alpo and killing Wayne. I don’t know what possessed him to think he could kill a hitman but whatever floated in his boat.
Michael was serious though, he wanted everyone out of his way. So he put a hit out on Wayne.
In the midst of all this Wayne got locked up on a murder charge. His protege Lil Pop from South East D.C. was picked up by Alpo and taken under his wing also. Wayne and Alpo haven’t met each other at this point but they both are close with Lil Pop.
Lil Pop was a Stick up kid in D.C., he was around 15 years old when he met Alpo. Him and a group of friends started a group called Junkyard Band and they were signed to Def Jam. Producing their hit song “Sardines”. Pop is pictured in the white hoodie.
Wayne’s bail was $10,000 but no one wanted him out because of the terror he caused; so Pop went up to Alpo and asked if he could get $10,000 to bail Wayne out. Alpo gives him the money because he needs Wayne on his team. Fatal partnership.
Wayne gets out, links up with Alpo and they get things rolling. Alpo knew of Michael’s plans and he reached out to someone in Michael’s circle named “Michael Jackson”. (not the pop star)
Wayne and Alpo paid Jackson to kill Michael Fray. Jackson accepts the offer, and on July 16, 1991; Fray was shot dead in his car.
With Fray out the way, Alpo moves to the top and with Wayne as his enforcer, they were untouchable in D.C.
Y’all remember Domencio from my 50 Cent thread? Wayne’s first Murder for Alpo was him at the basketball game. Domencio is pictured below on the right. This was taken in Bedstuy.
Here are some other pics of Wayne.
The law eventually caught up with them as Alpo was captured by the FEDS in 1990. He was charged with multiple murders and got hit with the Death Penalty. Can’t fool around in the Capital they’ll get you. He was smiling in this pic but in reality he cried like a baby.
Here is Alpo when he was arrested in New York back in 1983 as a teen.
The D.E.A. told Alpo if he confessed and gave up names they’ll take away his death penalty. So that’s exactly what he did. Wayne Perry was apprehended and got hit with 5 life sentences because of a man he protected. Pitiful. Wayne pictured below.
Lil Pop ended up getting killed in the early 1990’s at a club after allegedly killing a dealer name Blaze.
Alpo was hit with 35 years instead and he’s out now on witness protection and Wayne is obviously still in. Wayne converted to Islam and made a complete 360 even though he’s behind bars for the rest of his natural life.
Recently @jusunallah and myself were able to get in contact with Wayne through our IG Page. He should be writing us back soon, we’ll post the letter once he sends it.
As much as y’all like these stories, please understand that this life never ends well. Do something productive.
