Stan was the logical one of the group, meaning he believed that everything has an explanation - he couldnt find an explanation for this thing (IT), But Stan, in this scene still stood his ground, ready to fight this thing that challenged everything he believed/understood-

- Now, what if Mike was the only one who actually deeply understood Stan as a person. What if that was why Mike bravely went up against IT for Stan, because he knew how difficult this all was to Stan.

+ Y’all NEED to know that Stanlon has my heart, so yes I was mAd when I saw the deleted scenes. In that scene we saw Stan opening up to Mike, by getting upset over the fact he simply couldn’t enter that house, Mike didn’t question why. He just held him. Mike understood Stan.

+ Mike reassuring Stan is something that isn’t spoken about as much as it should. “You know I wouldn’t do that to you”. We deserved more scenes of them together. Maybe Mike was the only one Stan trusted. I mean in my opinion, Mike could be a great leader when needed.
