Ok one more song. It's has a v interesting story behind making of this song. Do tell me if you guys wanna hear it..
Ok, so here's the story..
When gulzar saab went to RD with this song, RD said ye kya shabd hai Qatra qatra.. Kuch romantic use karo.. Gulzar said ok if u want I'll change it by that time RD had already thought of the tune..
But when rec started.. Gulzar noticed that Asha ji is singing 1st, 3rd 5th line. He asked RD ye kya. RD said wait. When song was finally prepared if u notice Asha ji's voice overlaps. He made her sing 1 3 5 n then 2 4 6.
Why? Because technology was not that advanced that time so recorded on two tracks n mixed. Then he looked at Gulzar n said. Ab ise picturize karke dikhao. Aajata to Times of India ke article leke. He made such beautiful song just to challenge Gulzar..
Adding another favorite to list..
