6. orion wo nazoru (unison square garden; tiger & bunny opening 1)
- this band existed before sugar song & bitter step y'all
- still tops anisong lists so where is our t&b sequel
- perfectly euphoria!

7. kisetsu wa tsugitsugi shindeiku (amazarashi; tokyo ghoul root a ending)
- the only thing worth watching root a for
- a MASTERPIECE. changed my life
- listen to amazarashi they're super good

8. hello, world! (bump of chicken; kekkai sensen opening)
- not the last bump of chicken song you'll hear in this thread
- a serious jam. when this played in kkss for real i cried.
- the subs on this are so wrong smh

- an absolute fucking TUNE
- deserves more recognition
- play it loud enough and u see god

- yes this counts ok!!!
- still affects me in some weird way. i cried seeing this in the cinema LMAO
- listen to radwimps

- the entry level melodrama anime
- i have now cried for six literal years over this song
- the older you get the sadder this gets and thats the truth

19. answer (bump of chicken; sangatsu no lion opening 1)
- i could put any sangatsu op or ed on this list
- so uplifting. so positive. thank you.
- the visuals do a really good job of explaining the song actually

20. again (yui; fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood opening 1)
- we've all tried to sing this at least once dont even lie to me
- makes me wanna rewatch fma
- true banger

21. hero's come back (nobodyknows; naruto shippuden opening 1)
- IKU ZE 3 2 1 MAKE SOME NOISE
- started the series with a Bang
- i can remember subbers fighting over lyrics every week LMAO

22. sakamichi no melody (yuki; kids on the slope opening)
- a Masterpiece
- the full version is a spiritual journey
- makes me so so HAPPY!!!!!!!

- just a perfect song???

- just the fucking best
- this is always in people's threads its that good

- the one that started it all. the true icon
- whenever i hear this i feel like im watching bleach in three parts on youtube

- i dont think anyone watched this but i want you to experience hitorie anyway
- this is so hype it gives me heart palps
- THE INTRO!!!!!!!!!!!!

27. gravity Ø (aqua timez; star driver opening 1)
- the music together with the visuals makes you wanna watch it
- full version's better but
- so empowering and shounen-like!!

28. shining ray (janne d'arc; one piece ending 8)
- best ending? best ending.

- sometimes makes me wanna cry with nostalgia

29. kanashimi wo yasashisa ni (little by little; naruto opening 3)
- GOD this takes me back
- really strong lyrics
- i love how kakashi remembers naruto eating FGHJKFS

- can yall remember the fanmade hetalia versions of this
- death the kid's part is my fave

- reminds me of the chuunin exams INSTANTLY
- love the part where they show all the units

- so DRAMATIC lmao
- he's basically dabbing. thats my boy.
- reminds me of watching poor quality conan eps when i was little

- it really does make you wanna dance. watch your step
- unison are so great at songs like this

- anyone else just get emo
- knk is a really great anime you guys

- my personal favourite brotherhood op
- i have this memorised LOL
- really fits fma?? great visuals? A++

39. period (chemistry; fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood opening 4)
- 2nd fave brotherhood op
- both the tv size and full song give me chills by the end
- the elrics are so loved and i love them

40. koi no jumyou (galileo galilei; magic kaito 1412 ending 2)
- i just wanted an excuse to put galileo in the thread again
- why is the bridge and chorus cuter here than the full? Why.
- really good song really good lyrics y'all know the drill

41. speed to masatsu (amazarashi; ranpo kitan: game of laplace opening)
- cant say anything about the anime but i LOVE this song & its been requested
- very very good. very.
- listen to amazarashi!!!

42. flyers (bradio; death parade opening)

43. go!! (flow; naruto opening 4)
- THE legend!! THE banger!!!!!!
- we're all fighting dreamers in our hearts
- play this at my funeral

44. silhouette (kana-boon; naruto shippuden opening 16)
- the impact this song has had is unbelievable
- gives you strength but also makes you wanna cry?
- love love love it

45. hologram (nico touches the walls; fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood opening 2)
- DESERVED BETTER
- really good chill song
- brotherhood had really great tunes huh

46. sakura (nirgilis; eureka seven opening 4)
- im not sure why i like this either
- amazing grace really fits? which is strange
- flows very well with cool visuals. nostalgic

47. diver (nico touches the walls; naruto shippuden opening 8)
- makes me really really sad
- one of shippuden's best openings for real silhouette is shook
- naruto uzumaki deserves the world

48. hyadain no kakakata☆kataomoi-c (hyadain; nichijou opening 1)
- hyadain is a true legend. the female voice here is him edited
- so fun bouncy and a bit like falling in love
- watch nichijou!!!

49. hanabi (ikimonogakari; bleach ending 7)
- [wild harmonica noises]
- i love the last scene!!
- makes me remember good times. easier days

50. puzzle (round table feat. nino; welcome to the nhk opening)
- round table and nino are a godtier combo
- very different interesting visuals that suit the anime well
- the extra-hot mix/opening 2 is great too

51. sugar song & bitter step (unison square garden; kekkai sensen ending)
- the ultimate party tune
- spawned a thousand covers and fanvids
- makes you wanna dance obviously

52. goya no machiawase (hello sleepwalkers; noragami opening)
- this goes OFF!!!
- imo the visuals here dont live up to the song but
- noragami has really great ops and eds right

53. open your mind (yoko ishida; ah! my goddess opening)
- has the power to heal your heart
- reminds me of when i was young somehow
- added it just because it makes me happy

54. sakura kiss (chieko kawabe; ouran high school host club opening)
- KISS KISS FALL IN LOVE
- ouran was the gateway to anime for many of us on here respect it
- dont pretend you dont remember every single word of this

55. my soul, your beats! (lia; angel beats opening)
- i think about this song every day
- angel beats haunts me
- both versions are painful

56. hiyori ittai (yuzu; hunter x hunter 2011 ending 5 & 6)
- dont touch me im so sad
- will get stuck in your head for the wrong reasons
- this arc upsets me so much i haven't finished it

57. seijatachi (people in the box; tokyo ghoul ending)
- this is way too good to be an ending imo
- it's just a slideshow of ishida's art but it somehow works
- kinda nostalgic now

58. core pride (uverworld; blue exorcist opening 1)
- OH BABY MY PRIDE
- goes all the way off
- honestly one of my fave ops ever

59. destin histoire (yoshiki*lisa; gosick opening)
- THOSE VISUALS
- i really love this song for some reason
- i've never seen gosick but i've heard it's very good. i hope it is.

60. sorairo days (shoko nakagawa; tengen toppa gurren lagann opening)
- if i didnt post it in kissanime quality it wouldnt be the same OKAY?
- hurts my heart man. simon is so tiny here
- i think about and miss everyone a lot

61. shissou (last alliance; ouran high school host club ending 1)
- i still know every word of this. that legendary riff!!
- another slideshow set to music but does it really matter??
- the official english version of this just isn't the same lol

62. blaze (kinya kotani; tsubasa reservoir chronicle opening 1)
- i had to post this in throwback quality im sorry
- ah, the days where we could follow tsubasa's plot...
- i hope you know i would die for this entire crew

63. trust me (yuya matsushita; durarara ending 1)
- [in the distance] trust me trust me trust me...
- every series you could think of had their own version of this
- actually quite a bop

64. kokoro no tamago (buono!; shugo chara opening 1)
- this was the best way back when and that's the truth.
- buono provided the best ops and eds too
- a good song with a GREAT message!! i miss this

65. velonica (aqua timez; bleach opening 9)
- that bass at the start KILLS ME!!
- you've tried to learn or even sing this
- fucking awesome. i dont need to say any more than that

66. uragiri no yuuyake (theatre brook; durarara opening)
- IM SORRY FOR MISSING THIS OUT
- pretty cool song honestly
- my fave part is how everyone is introduced!! it makes the op itself worth watching

67. tabi no tochuu (natsumi kiyoura; spice and wolf opening)
- lovely and nostalgic
- makes you feel like travelling
- this show is actually about economics

68. catch you catch me (gumi; cardcaptor sakura opening 1)
- you can't beat a classic!!
- it's so cute it kinda makes me tear up
- is it the best ccs op? that's up to you.

69. kero! to march (nobuaki kakuda & juri ihata; keroro gunsou opening 1)
- not adding this would be a crime against my childhood
- i still know all the words and im sure you know a few too
- it's always the year of keroro, every year

70. brand new world (d-51; one piece opening 6)
- one of the best openings ever and it only lasts 15 episodes?? unbelievable.
- the fight scenes are still badass
- the whole thing is so great. love it

71. mask (aqua timez; bleach ending 30)
- the anime staff truly saved one of the best for last
- both the visuals and song seem kinda sad but it's actually really encouraging
- makes me very emotional even now

72. signal (kelun; gintama ending 7)
- i just picked this cos i love kelun
- NOT because of the visuals!! no!
- used for some great arcs so now it makes me kinda emo

73. shura (does; gintama ending 5)
- the moment i realised how great gintama is
- endings should not be THIS good
- tbh all does songs are amazing but this is my personal fave

74. honey (chihiro; cardcaptor sakura ending 2)
- my fave ccs ending. this tv size is way too short
- it puts you so at ease and brings back nice memories
- sakura is just too cute

75. gekkou (bump of chicken; karakuri circus opening)
- the third bump song in this thread. i'm not sorry.
- has a early 2000s anisong feel
- i feel like they could've done more with the visuals but oh well

76. laika (bird bear hare and fish; boruto: naruto next generations ending 6)
- i just really really love this song
- seems like it doesn't fit, but it kinda does
- i thought boruto was his dad at the start of this

77. departure (masatoshi ono; hunter x hunter 2011 opening)
- so good they never changed it over 148 episodes. it cannot be topped.
- cures depression but can also make you sad sometimes??
- you're singing along right now and so am i

78. prayer x (king gnu; banana fish ending 1)
- the VIBES! the VISUALS!
- makes me sad as hell
- listen to king gnu

79. reason (fotogenico; xxxholic ending 1)
- another one of my very first anime songs
- the simple visuals really bring out how good it is
- it's so cute and chill

80. i, ai, ai (ghostnote; gintama ending 11)
- a very fitting ending for some of the best early mini-arcs
- has a classic anisong style i really like
- the kind of emotional song you scream dramatically at 3am

81. let me be with you (round table feat. nino; chobits opening)
- regardless of how you feel about the series, this is a great song
- very nostalgic for people of a certain age
- kinda jazzy, huh

82. only my railgun (fripside; a certain scientific railgun opening 1)
- this went the hardest of them all back in the day respect it
- a great opening even if you don't know about the series
- remember when the subs changed for the english part every week?

83. kanashii ureshii (frederic; love and lies opening)
- y'all love this. i love this. everyone loves it.
- the visuals fit well with the tune. makes you pay attention to what's going on
- please listen to frederic!!

84. life is like a boat (rie fu; bleach ending 1)
- you still know all the words to this
- can make me very emotional tbh
- beautifully simple and effective

85. know know know (does; gintama opening 17)
- 100% concentrated hype
- the whole thing is fantastically put together
- the pure force of that chorus makes it one of the best ops for me

86. sayonara gokko (amazarashi; dororo ending)
- another great tune from amz
- hiroyuki asada's art and designs are beautiful
- a perfect match of song and atmosphere

87. ft (funkist; fairy tail opening 3)
- best opening for the best arc!!
- the flute really makes it great
- i love the foreshadowing in this

88. orion (kenshi yonezu; sangatsu no lion ending 2)
- the song is brilliant (but way better in full!)
- fits really well at this point in 3gatsu's story
- the interesting visual style completes the package

89. climber (galileo galilei; haikyuu ending 3)
- look i had to give haikyuu its time to shine at some point
- really atmospheric even though it's short
- captures the frustration of training and working to the top very well

90. fake town baby (unison square garden; kekkai sensen & beyond opening)
- listening to this is like being on a rollercoaster
- manages to pack the series' wildness into 90 seconds which is admirable
- the lyrics are actually pretty powerful at times

91. touch off (uverworld; the promised neverland opening)
- an absolute banger that should be respected
- i love the puzzle piece theming & the references put in for manga readers
- shows the series off in a stylish way like a good opening should

92. wind (akeboshi; naruto ending 1)
- i'm sorry it took me 91 places to get to this!!
- i love that you can really understand naruto's situation in such a short time
- makes you wanna cry but you don't really know why

93. cagayake! GIRLS (houkago tea time; k-on! opening)
- adorable AND a great song
- really really nostalgic. i still know every word
- why does no one talk about how good the bassline is??

94. broken youth (nico touches the walls; naruto shippuden ending 6)
- this song does NOT match with the visuals and i love it
- i had to upload it in this quality to give you the real 2011 feeling
- it's just cool isn't it

95. motto hade ni ne! (haruka tomatsu; kannagi opening)
- nagi REALLY paved the way with this
- it might be loud and obnoxious but it cheers you up so much!!
- yeah! unbelievable!

96. last moment (spyair; bleach ending 25)
- the ending itself sucks but cos it's spyair it's in the thread
- 16 seconds in and you just know it's a banger
- seriously why is ichigo just running?

97. kimi janakya dame mitai (masayoshi ooishi; gekkan shoujo nozaki-kun opening)
- yes the modern legend
- somehow still good even when you've heard it too much
- does a great job of capturing everyone's characters quickly

98. long hope philia (masaki suda; my hero academia ending 5)
- written by hiromu akita from amazarashi, so you know it's good
- really really fits izuku's story. he looks weird running here
- a fantastic and emotional song. this arrangement makes it more emo

99. drawing days (splay; katekyo hitman reborn opening 1)
- and just like that i'm 13 and watching reborn in 3 parts on youtube
- the riff almost hurts it's so nostalgic
- actually a really great tune. listen to the full version

100. memosepia (sajou no hana; mob psycho 100 II ending 2)
- two seconds in and i tear up
- this visual style is so adorable
- mob...Good!!

101. closer (joe inoue; naruto shippuden opening 6)
- this made you feel like you could fully understand japanese for a hot second as a kid
- the fight scenes are good
- [sobbing] and i'll never take it for granted

102. katayoku no tori (akiko shikata; umineko no naku koro ni opening)
- this is over a decade old now and yet beatrice is eternally beautiful
- i always try to sing both parts. every single time
- the best part of the anime....

103. kurutto mawatte ikkaiten (kigurumi; keroro gunsou ending 9)
- this haunts my dreams
- spawned loads of MADs and parodies
- too catchy for its own good. wahaha!

104. uso (sid; fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood ending 1)
- i can't believe i didn't add this yet?
- perfect blend of visual style and song
- holds some sort of nostalgic magical power

105. gurenge (lisa; kimetsu no yaiba opening)
- i think this is legendary
- even if you don't enjoy the song, the visuals and the work put in make up for it
- it's even well-edited for a tv size

106. world end (flow; code geass opening 5)
- no one could agree on what the english part was
- the chorus is MADE for screaming
- tell me why the shot of cc near the end makes me emotional?

107. movin (takacha; bleach ending 8)
- if you could condense my childhood memories into one video it'd be this
- this is just a perfect little ending sequence
- the bount arc was paid dust

108. yellow moon (akeboshi; naruto ending 13)
- i'm adding this just because it makes me cry sometimes
- it's so.........bittersweet
- they really hid a song this good in a filler arc, huh.

109. down town (maaya sakamoto; and yet the town moves opening)
- i've never gotten over how good this is
- there's SO much going on that you want to see it again every episode
- pause and look at all the cool details!!

110. someone else (kana asumi, saki fujita & eri kitamura; working!! opening)
- remember when every popular thing had its own parody of this? i miss that.
- this animation is so smooth
- so bright and cheery!! yay!!

111. scenario (saboten; naruto ending 15)
- i've known this off by heart since the last ep it was in
- the older i get the sadder this gets
- those few frames where we see shippuden naruto

112. wild side (ali; beastars opening)
- quite simply a masterpiece
- the song is a banger, the visuals are gorgeous. what more do you want?
- haru and legosi's dance adds years to my life

113. 1・2・3 (after the rain; pocket monsters opening 1)
- i love all the references inside the song itself
- the dance part is cute!! the whole sequence has a lot of personality
- when mafumafu says 'let's have a fight', you FIGHT

114. easy breezy (chelmico; keep your hands off eizouken! opening)
- condenses the whole show AND characters into a nice package
- SO CATCHY
- the life and fun just flowing from this is amazing

115. chAngE (miwa; bleach opening 12)
- this is a decade old now...
- seeing these subs makes the years melt away
- seems unfitting but then the fight scenes happen and it's AWESOME

116. my sweet heart (rika komatsu; tokyo mew mew opening)
- the ULTIMATE nostalgic opening theme for shoujo fans
- i still know every word!!!!
- even the effects are pure 2000s beauty
