Occupy Nigeria died when people went to 'talk' to the government.

This happens again and again in the history of Nigeria's protests. Govt identifies a 'spokesperson'. Govt speaks with the person privately. The person communicates to the masses. The masses calm down. #EndSARS
This 'spokesperson' thing is a typical tactic in suppressing agitation. It gives people a sense that something is being done. But the demand is not for govt to come negotiate or discuss with spokepersons. The demand is for govt to DO SOMETHING or get out of the way. #EndSARS
Every adult citizen is self-representative when it comes to dealing with the govt as citizens. That's why we each have a vote.

Never trust a govt that asks to meet with the 'leaders' of a protest. That's just a divide and rule tactic perfected since colonial days. #EndSARS
Young Nigerians have to remember that our voice is our power, and this power is ours.

No one will save you from govt. You will save yourselves. No one will represent you to govt. You will represent yourselves.

Use your voice. Never surrender your responsibility. #EndSARS
