So many NGOs here in Nigeria receiving donor funds to fight against Rape and other associated crimes and ills against the girl child..these guys should do a sensitization regularly in Yaba market abt groping and sexual harassment..use those donor funds we know you get well

If you are a lawyer and looking to make a difference in this conversation , move the needle a little, partner up with like minds, set up an NGO and do advocacy, not social media advocacy, go to the markets go to the churches, a few megaphones and banners and a weekly march

Since the society isnt doing enough..take the initiative and do the drive... you dont need the fancy office for now, bootstrap , donor funding will come..if u make a drive in yaba market a weekly event in a couple of months perceptions will change, groping will reduce

If you are a corper and the issue of sexual harrassment nd Rape burdens you, join the related CDS and give them ideas , not only radio advocacy, put jungle boots on the ground..ur CDS shouldnt always be sitting at secretariat, marches in d markets will do more

Not just markets,primary school students can be taught simple consent messages and compliance.. dont touch anyone without express permission can be taught to children

Secondary school students can be taught to understand NO means NO , these drives can be made in Universities also ...there is work to be done..do the work and publicize it and before u know it you will get funding that can push ur advocacy

Talk to movie directors, they can adopt these ideas in our movies and by extension citizens..case in Point is Gay rights, remember when u wouldnt see gay content on shows? Now every show has one gay character, they are making the concept more acceptable little by little

If LGBTQzgsjdoe rights can be tempered through that medium, Sexual harassment and Rape issues can also be advocated on in that way, nt the present storylines where a man rapes a woman and after years something happens, man apologises she forgives, THE END

How about a man Raped a woman and she goes to a rape centre without bathing and dna is extracted the RAPIST is taken to court and sentenced right in the movie, this is not an impossible plot..the decadent men watching these movies will see this side of the coin in Rape cases

Its not impossible to do...it's not too difficult, what it jst needs is Delibrate and Purposeful action .. it can be done...IT SHOULD BE DONE...have a nice day guys
