I think it’s kinda weird that in fiction, there’s almost exclusively a girl and her monster/robot/non human boyfriend. I’ve never seen it the other way around but when I do, the non human girl is made to look very human. Odd.

Hmm. I think what happened is i've seen a lot of fanart/illustrations of these things on tumblr/twitter and i assumed it meant there was a lot of it in literature.

i cant really think of examples on the top of my head.
