Wouldn't it be hilarious if WSR finds himself cast as the inveterate complainer and perennial loser when he demands what has been promised?
Another historical lesson WSR may consider. Only one of 4 Presidents KE's had got there directly from VP and that was because his boss died.
Historically, the Vice/Deputy Presidency has been a bit of a dead-end job. Just two of WSR's 10 predecessors eventually got the top job.
Lesson is, being a heartbeat away from the Presidency only counts if your boss' heart stops beating. Uhuru's isn't likely to any time soon.
Which means WSR should watch his back once the current fracas dies down. When the wolves come, will Uhuru protect him as Jomo protected Moi?
