Wondering if the idea of a static identity is just another cognitive bias.
I find having to constantly readjust my behavior to a baseline quite taxing. Almost like self-parenting. My own moral police.
As if I'm afraid it would be too weird for someone to meet me and find I'm different from who I was yesterday.
