Just have to give a shoutout to @EAlexTheGreat for the magnificence that is "Concrete Park" & all the beautiful shades of brown characters!
Though short-lived, the story in Action Lab's "Fight Like A Girl" was deeply moving and just fun overall.
If you're a fan of the Alien movie franchise & need some more Xenomorph time, I highly recommend "Aliens: Defiance" to quench the thirst.

Enough can not be said of the majesty, beauty and grace (along with fantasy, action and adventure) of "Niobe: She is Life".

This labor of love comic by @marcuskwame will have you sipping hot chocolate & snuggled under a warm blanket in the middle of summer!
"Afroella" is a spectacular comic by @GemmaBedeau and @LEEFWDESIGN proving a Black woman being a space captain is NOT so alien afterall!
"Princeless" by @jrome58 is a much needed story where the princess saves herself and has adventures of her own.
Comic book in novel form? Yes, it exists wonderfully in "The Keepers: Origins" by @JazminTruesdale at @AzaComics

This mind-blowing book edited by @neekaneeks will have you clamoring for more story, action and fantasy! "Afar" is a dream come true!
My list would be incomplete without including "Shaft" from none other than Dynamite!
"Bitch Planet" is added to this list for the creative, insightful, thought-provoking & often heartbreaking story in these pages.

For those interested in going "old school" check out these titles (and others) from Milestone Comics (more of an homage to this than to DC).
A favorite comic I was sad to see go was "Welcome to Tranqulity" a small town of "super" heroes/villains whose sheriff was a Black woman.
This limited issue run of "Genius" was beautifully presented by the artistic mastery of @AfuaRichardson
Though only familiar w/them through crossover events, Battalion & Flint of Image's Stormwatch are added (thanks to @kaiju66 & @fangirlsmash)
If you loved ANY Octavia Butler masterpiece (or want to get into her fascinating works), then "Kindred" is available as a graphic novel.

This Guy Sims' adaptation of Walter Dean Myers' novel, of the same name, will captivate your spirit. The use of black and white as the chosen art form adds so much depth to the story. It beckons readers to enter this world and forces one to ponder "What exactly is a monster?"
