1. I used to work for a Pharma industry here in the UK and I was privy to amount of grants they give African countries #NGOBill

2. most especially HIV/Aids victims also for Gay men living with Aids in Nigeria. The proposals were in the range of £100k - £250k #NGOBill

3. I was curious to know how the process works, i started asking questions from one of the Directors incharge of that grant unit #NGOBill

4. I got a very bad review about NGOs in Nigeria. They actually do nothing after collecting the huge grant. #NGOBill

5. He said they now have a process in place for NGOs in Nigeria to not give the full grant out again but based on set milestones #NGOBill

6. @pelumzee you will remember I asked you for a genuine NGO looking after Children living with HIV/Aids. This is why #NGOBill

7. I was very angry on how people will collect such amount and divert it and no regulatory authority to check their activities #NGOBill

8. I was keen to let the Director know their are still good NGOs in Nigeria who actually care for people and not the money #NGOBill

9. A proper check should be in place and the grant should be channelled in the right place. #NGOBill

10. Whether this present NASS with questionable characters are the right set of people to do it is my QUESTION. #NGOBill
