To those who are trying to get back into praying 5 times a day or even starting gradually but feel they cannot connect with Allah - a thread
The best way I can describe this scenario is analogising going to the gym. You train (pray) to achieve your end goal (increase in imaan)
You may start out of shape but nonetheless you have a goal. You don& #39;t achieve that goal overnight, similarly to your connection with Allah
You may feel your Salah is useless or you can& #39;t maintain it but this is the case for training weeks at the gym and seeing few results
The more you train, the more you get into a disciplined routine, the faster the results come - likewise with prayer, it becomes easier
Overtime you see yourself making those gains, getting closer to where you want to be, your routine becomes second nature & you feel stronger
But as you& #39;ll know, this is a long process but results are guaranteed. It may be hard at first to stick to a routine.
But if you stick to it long enough and you stay determined to your goal, the results are guaranteed
As is the case for Salah, from personal experience.
It takes a push but once you start with the right mindset, you& #39;ll wonder why you didn& #39;t start earlier
Above all, don& #39;t be afraid to ask for help from anyone - Allah, a friend to help you stay on track or your family
