November 30, 1994, Tupac was shot five times in the lobby of Quad Recording Studios in New York City. He was robbed of $40,000 in jewelry.

Members of Bad Boy, including Puff Daddy, Biggie, & Lil' Cease, were at Quad that night, leading Pac to believe they set his robbery up.
