I'm thinking today about how Twitter works, not as a company or a tech platform, but as a series of overlapping & intertwined communities.
Most of all, I'm thinking about how Twitter reminds me of the Buddhist story of Kisa Gotami, also known as The Mustard Seed.
Kisa Gotami was a young woman whose only son died. She was overwhelmed with grief, crazy with it, dying from it.
