I received an update on the Mystic Chicken Who Lives By the Creek while I was out walking the dog and I feel the need to tell you about it.

Our story begins several months (!!) ago when I quite literally saw a chicken cross the road.

She was headed from the neighborhood to the little creek--really a glorified drainage ditch. She was walking with a purpose.
