the uncles have their shops where they sell rasta things, like the dread hats, reggae wear, head wraps... thats THEIR source of income

yall are probably thinking "its cultural approp. wym ??" but sis its ok. yes its apart if our culture but no we do not mind a hat w/ dreads

so when tourists wear the hat w/ fake dreads, it makes them feel welcome when they visit our country, or like tae in the jamaican restaurant

wearing actual dreads is a different story because you arent apart of the rasta culture, but if its a hate w/ fake dreads, its gucci yall

its literally us jamaicans sharing our culture, hence the reason the jamaicans themselves at the restaurant gave him the dread hat

dread hats are a tourist attraction to get your money when you visit jamaica or any other jamaican store, real dreads are the problem, done.

in jamaica, the locals who live near the tourist areas (st annes bay, montigo bay..) make their money off of the tourist that vacation there
