I “found myself” without booking a trip to Peru or backpacking across Europe.

Most of the information I needed was accessible on the web for free.

Here are 6 resources that helped me ‘find myself’ and assess my strengths, virtues, weaknesses, and flaws for $0…🧵
1. Personality tests!

💡 Taking the Enneagram and MBTI gives you a rough outline of who you are

💡Literature about each type can easily be found so take advantage of that and gain a deeper understanding of your personality

2. What are your character strengths?

💡Character strengths = positive parts of your personality that make you feel authentic and engaged.

💡Understanding and applying your strengths can help you develop them further until you’re unstoppable. :)

3/ Journalling about your dream self

💡Figure out where you want to be and what your best self would be like.

-what are their habits?
-how does their day go?
-What fun stuff do they do?
6/ 360° Review

Have people around you fill out an anonymous survey of who they think you are. This includes parents, siblings, etc.

💡This gives you another perspective of how you’re perceived in the world and may shine a light on your blind spots.
