How to maximize and maintain a high self-esteem

A thread:
It is one thing to build your self-esteem.

It is another thing to maintain it.

What's more important is what NOT to do in order to maintain self-esteem and self-worth.

The key is to avoid doing the wrong things more than doing the right things.
1- Achieve.

There is no way around this.

Give yourself reasons to believe in yourself.

Or else you're just lying to yourself & it's unhealthy.

"Achieve" might sound like vague advice so let me give you some direction.
What can you achieve?

The possibilities are endless.

It isn't much about what as much as it is about how and when.

Let's explain.
How?

Identify what you're good at.

Not what you enjoy, but rather what you excel at.

If it's not your passion, it will soon become.

We tend to love what makes us feel better.

If you're good at it, you will fall in love with it.
"Oh but I'm good at nothing!"

Good.

Let's fix that shit because this type of thought shouldn't even cross your mind.

This brings us to our next part.
2- Fix your self-talk:

You talk to yourself like shit.

So you think you're shit.

It just makes sense.

If you're not there to cheer yourself up, nobody will.

At least not effectively.

Some people might offer support.

But what is it worth if you don't support yourself first?
3- Don't try to change yourself without being yourself.

It may result in losing your personality.

Build upon who you are.

Achieve your own visions and avoid simply reproducing what you see.

Analyze, extrapolate, and internalize.

Act accordingly.
4- Stop the loser behavior:

Whenever you are feeling down, don't sit down or lie down.

It creates a sense of fake comfort.

Force yourself to do something active, go out there, and do fulfilling activities.

Force your brain to secrete dopamine.
5- No regrets, no failures, only lessons:

Don't get caught up in regret or guilt when you recall past events or situations.

If you learned your lesson, then look back with pride.

"I made a mistake, I know better now."
There is a beginning to everything.

I created an audiobook designed to help you imprint important ideas in your mind.

It also comes with 12 laws that will make your life much easier. http://gum.co/EgoLaws
Remember:

Nobody's gonna do this work for you.

Get your shit together, and stop crying about life.

Stop beating yourself up, it's pointless.
End.
