The Average Person Wastes 21.7 Hours EVERY Week!

Here is how you can stop wasting time:

// thread //
1. Overthinking

Overthinking affects 73% of people aged 25-35!

It is so easy to overthink and make sure everything is perfect but this is ultimately a huge waste of time.
Cure: writing out plans

Writing out your plans allows for no time to overthink.

As soon as you’re done with one task you immediately will know what’s next up.

So start writing down plans for the day.
2. Leaving notifications on

This is an easy way to never get full work done as we all know how many notifications can pop up.

And it is so tempting to see who followed or replied to your posts.
Cure: limit time spent online

Start setting specific times for going online.

This helps you not waste time while also being able to do what you want.

This will make it easier to follow through.
3. Sitting in bed

Most people even if they set an alarm and wake up will just sit in bed and wait until they need to get up.

This not only makes you more tired but also sets bad habits into motion.
Cure: Going to bed earlier

This seems like a weird cure but it’s true. Of course, you don’t want to get out of bed when you had 4 hours of sleep.

You need to start going to bed earlier so you are alert and ready to get out of bed the moment you wake up.
4. Multitasking

Yes it is fun to get multiple things done at once.

I struggled with this also as it seems more productive.

But it’s really not.

Look at the picture and you’ll understand why.
Cure: Go to an empty room

Find an empty room and bring that one thing you need to get done in.

This will limit you from getting tempted and will increase productivity.
5. Worrying about others

Stop paying attention to what others think.

They don’t even notice you.

They are focused on their life just like you should be.
Cure: Find something to go after

People only start worrying about others when they don’t have something to look forward to.

It doesn’t matter what it is as long as it keeps you occupied and building towards a better future.
6. Being too available

This can seem like a good thing but you need to live your life and not others.

You should help others but your family comes first.
Cure: saying no

Start getting comfortable saying no.

It will be hard and uncomfortable at first but you need to respect your time.

It also makes others value you and your time.
7. Complaining

Complaining does nothing or causes even more problems.

You also look weak complaining about things you could have controlled.
Cure: accept the past

You can do nothing about the past.

The future is all you have.

Start changing what you can so you won’t even have the option to complain.
8. Being unorganized

This is problematic as it causes multiple layers of problems.

First, you can’t find something and then that causes you to fail something and now you’re in trouble.
Cure: have a spot for everything

You need to have spots where you can put specific things.

Books go on a bookshelf so why don’t plans get written down?
