We may anticipate 2°C - 3°C by around 2047 assuming no extraordinary events that disrupt economic growth and elite corporate power.

Few if any scientists say they expect unthinkable 3°C as early as 2048-2052, but as far as we can tell from polls, etc, it would seem more than half anticipate horrific, unmanageable 2°C by the 2040s - 2060s and dire 3°C by the 2070s - 2090s.
