Ukraine Situation Report - 1. The awful missile attack on the Kramatorsk train station today has a rising casualty count of now 51 killed 84 injured. Much international condemnation of the attack, which Russia says was a Ukrainian false flag.
2. EU Officials visited Kyiv today and witnessed for themselves the devastation and destruction in regional suburbs.

US Officials are reporting that the Russian Military is now Mobilizing more than 60,000 Reservists.
3. Reports of a Russian Navy missile strike against Ukrainian artillery or ADS system in the region of Odesa today. Unable to verify this as yet.
4. Russia air activity has increased slightly last 24hrs to circa 250 sorties after a slight reduction in recent days. These are mostly all now in the southeast.
5. Fighting continued across the Donbas today with some heavy artillery exchanges, but no significant changes on the ground reported.

Fighting continued along parts of the Donets and south of Izyum with reports of some Russian units pushing on small settlements.
6. Increased Russian activity south of Izyum today and to its east, but no significant control changes on the ground.
7. Kharkiv continued to be shelled sporadically. Ukrainian forces conducted a number of counteroffensives destroying some Russian vehicles in the southeast. No significant changes around Kharkiv.
8. There were more reports of clashes with Russian units in the Dnipro region again, but no further details verified as yet.
9. Mykolaiv was mostly quiet with some Ukrainian units from there continuing supporting offensives and operations around Kherson in the southeast. Artillery exchanges Kherson region today, but OPSEC still preventing us detailing Ukrainian progress reports on the ground.
10. Kherson is a good indicator of when Russia wants to take a strong defensive position, how much more difficult it is for Ukrainian forces to break through.
11. The agility of small Ukrainian units and the topography around Kyiv and other areas worked to a Ukrainian advantage when in a defensive role.
12. Larger counteroffensives against large Russian units in defensive positions will be much more complex, hence the importance of an increasing requirement for better weapons and equipment.
13. The topography of the southeast is very different, some of it could work to assist the Ukrainian forces, but some may not.
14. Fighting continued in Mariupol, with further airstrikes, but no indications of any advances on the port area.
15. We are expecting a major Russian offensive in the southeast to commence likely next week, depending significantly on apparent comms and supply issues again and how quickly troops can be freed up from Mariupol.
16. We are expecting new Russian offensives on towns and cities south of Izyum in the coming days.
17. We still assess air/missile strikes will increase targeting new Ukrainian weapons systems from the west, the political apparatus and critical infrastructure targets.

We shall likely see more missile strikes overnight tonight and increased shelling on strategic cities.
