13 benchmark goals for a man to complete by 25:
1. Define life goals

If you already have a plan for how you are going to achieve them, you're ahead of the game.

HINT: there is no such thing as a perfect plan. You need a direction to start in. You can (and probably will) change your focus as you continue on, and that's ok.
2. Basic social skills

Be competent in public speaking, small talk, debate, and be able to maintain eye contact.

You need to be able to communicate opinions concisely with confidence.
3. Basic money management

Master the basics.

• Maintain a budget
• Learn basic investing
• Have an emergency fund

You are at the point where you can set yourself up for success or pay big for your mistakes.

Get serious here. This one is important.
4. Learn a few basic games

No one cares how good you are at beer pong anymore. That shit stopped being cool in college.

Hang out, enjoy a beer, and hold your own in:

• Darts
• Poker
• Billiards

You can add golf, too, if you're into that kind of thing.

Be fun to be around.
5. Driving

You should be able to hop in nearly any vehicle and be able to drive it.

Understand how to hook up and back up a trailer.

Know how to drive a manual transmission.

And be comfortable driving in poor conditions.
6. Basic fitness

Learn how to move and use your body.

• Run
• Swim
• Squats
• Pull ups
• Deadlifts
• Push ups
• Bench Press

Be able to perform the basics.
7. Handle yourself

Be able to de-escalate a situation, talk your way out of a trouble, and, if all else fails, throw a punch.

You will not be confident if you are walking around scared of other people.
8. Own basic tools and know how to use them

You need to be able to perform basic home repairs and carpentry.

Minor electrical, plumbing, and small engines are all your deal now.

The basic toolkit = hammer, screwdrivers, wrenches, allen wrenches, flashlight, measuring tape.
9. Basic mechanical competencies

• Change a flat tire
• Change the oil in your car.
• Jump start a car

(By the way, you should always have jumper cables in your car...)
10. Situational awareness

Pay attention to your surroundings.

Keep tabs on the shady dude at the bar, know where your exits are, don't put yourself in bad or dangerous positions.

Oh, and don't be the asshat walking down the middle of the drive aisle in the Walmart parking lot.
11. Basic outdoor skills

• Start a fire
• Cook a meal
• Build a shelter
• Know a few knots
• Know how and where to get food and drinking water.
12. Handle a firearm

Be comfortable handling, loading, and unloading a firearm.

Know how to shoot.

Respect firearms but do not fear them.
13. Develop a self-study habit

Read books, watch videos, listen to podcasts.

Develop yourself.

There is so much that you didn't learn in school it is borderline criminal.

Expose yourself to new ideas and stretch your mind.
